a guide to understanding nonbinary alignment

The galactian alignment system was created for non-binary people to describe their gender without having to use binary terms such as 'masculine' or 'woman-aligned'. Not all non-binary people use the galactian alignment system.
The theme of space used in the galactian system is because space is genderless, but aspects of it are often personified to have gender for artistic, religious, or cultural reasons. Non-binary people have also historically been associated with space. This is not to be confused with the celestial system or xenogenders, as the theme is a metaphor.

TLDR; nonbinary alignment is basically when you connect with woman or manhood more as a nonbinary person without having to connect to a binary gender. some nonbinary people are not aligned, but most are! alignment has no affect on the pronouns you use, it is just used to connect yourself to women/manhood. nonbinary people being aligned does NOT invalidate trans people.

female alignment is when you connect more to womanhood or femininity. most nonbinary women are female aligned. you do not feel fully connected to being a female, but you have some connections. you can be fem aligned no matter the pronouns you use! (she, he, they, or neopronouns as long as you are nonbinary!) alignment is often used to connect nonbinary people to a sexuality, such as lesbianism. if you are fem or unaligned, you can be a lesbian. you can also be any other sexuality, as nonbinary people and attraction to them is included in every sexuality.

to all my hesbians, theysbian, and neosbians...ily ur so valid

there’s no male aligned n.b flag that i can find :( but if you find one or have one lmk!

male alignment is when you connect more to manhood or masculinity. most nonbinary men are male aligned. you do not feel fully connected to being a male, but you have some connections. you can be male aligned no matter the pronouns you use! (she, he, they, or neopronouns as long as you are nonbinary!) alignment is often used to connect nonbinary people to a sexuality, such as homosexuality. if you are male or unaligned, you can be gay. you can also be any other sexuality, as nonbinary people and attraction to them is included in every sexuality.

to all my s/h, t/t, and neoprns gays...ily ur so valid

what if i don’t feel connected to man/womanhood?

then you’re not aligned! you don’t have to be aligned when you are nonbinary, you are still just as valid! not everyone can connect to woman/manhood and that’s completely valid! just identify with what makes you comfortable, no matter your pronouns. using he/him or she/her while being nonbinary doesn’t necessarily mean you are aligned, it can just be what you are comfortable with. you are so valid!! you can even use they/them or neopronouns and be unaligned. not everyone is comfortable connecting to woman/manhood or femininity/masculinity.
